What to do now - September

  • You can still order your seed potatoes, onion sets and garlic bulbs!
  • Continue to sow winter and spring crops. (Sow successionally for continuous supply)
  • Keep harvesting fruit and veg as it becomes ready

  • Plant your garlic and onion sets for over wintering and they will be ready earlier than those planted early in the year
​
  • Turn your compost heap to aerate it
​
  • Keep an eye out for blight, this can affect tomatoes and potatoes. 
​
  • Plant some new potatoes in the greenhouse for a christmas harvest
​
