Finish all pruning of fruit trees this month.
Winter digging should be finished this month.
At the end of the month you can start sowing some onions, broad beans and early carrots.
For an early crop of rhubarb you can start forcing by covering with a large pot or bucket. Heap fresh manure around to provide warmth.
Plan your crop rotations and which vegetables you will be growing this season
If the weather is mild buds will start to swell on gooseberries so protect them from the birds
